We have developed an advanced Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) transport system for operating rooms, revolutionizing the internal logistics of hospital supplies. The system's core is intelligent robots equipped with advanced sensing technology, specifically designed for medical environments. Its unique omnidirectional wheel structure allows the robot to navigate flexibly in narrow medical spaces, easily avoiding beds, equipment, and personnel. To ensure ease of use, the robot is equipped with a prominent blue operation interface and a red drawer control panel, enabling healthcare professionals to operate it effortlessly without specialized technical training, significantly enhancing logistics efficiency.

The system's operation mode is highly intuitive and efficient. Staff at nursing stations or supply preparation areas only need to select the destination (such as a specific operating room) through a digital interface, place the required medications, blood, or medical equipment into the robot's dedicated storage compartment, and initiate the automatic delivery process. The robot will analyze the real-time environment, choose the shortest and safest route, and autonomously travel to the designated location. Upon arrival, the system will notify healthcare personnel through internal communication equipment in the operating room and automatically open the storage drawer, achieving contactless supply delivery and ensuring the sterility and safety of the medical environment.
This intelligent logistics system brings multiple benefits to medical institutions. Firstly, it significantly reduces the physical burden on healthcare professionals, allowing them to focus their valuable time and energy on professional medical care. Secondly, the system's automation and intelligence significantly reduce the risk of human error, enhancing the accuracy and timeliness of supply delivery. Particularly in emergencies, the AMR can quickly transport critical medications or blood products, potentially saving valuable time for treatment. Furthermore, robot transport reduces the frequency of human contact, effectively minimizing the possibility of cross-infection, which is of positive significance for maintaining the cleanliness of surgical areas.
As medical needs become increasingly complex, our AMR intelligent logistics system will continue to be optimized and upgraded. Through deep integration with 5G communication technology and the Internet of Things architecture, the system will gain more powerful real-time decision-making and collaborative capabilities. We plan to expand the robot's functions, adding features such as temperature control and automatic disinfection to meet a broader range of medical logistics needs. In the future, the intelligent logistics system will also achieve seamless integration with hospital information systems, forming a complete smart healthcare ecosystem. This will not only enhance the efficiency of medical resource allocation but also create a more comfortable and efficient medical environment for patients, driving the quality of medical services to new heights.
