Our hospital is actively planning to introduce robotic systems for rehabilitation and physical therapy, aiming to provide more precise and efficient rehabilitation solutions for patients. The planned robotic-assisted equipment will aid patients in upper and lower limb function training, gait correction, and balance recovery, offering personalized treatment through precisely controlled resistance and assistance for patients at different stages of recovery. The robotic system can automatically adjust training difficulty based on the patient's recovery status, achieving a gradual rehabilitation process, particularly suitable for patients recovering from strokes, spinal cord injuries, and joint replacement surgeries.

The system will be equipped with advanced biofeedback technology, recording patient performance data in real-time, allowing the medical team to accurately assess rehabilitation progress and dynamically adjust treatment plans. Robotic-assisted rehabilitation not only enhances treatment precision but also reduces the physical burden on healthcare professionals while increasing the training volume and intensity for each rehabilitation session. This data can also form a comprehensive rehabilitation history file, providing valuable references for clinical research and treatment plan optimization.

Another significant advantage of robotic-assisted rehabilitation is its high consistency and repeatability. Traditional rehabilitation therapy is often limited by the therapist's personal skills and physical endurance, whereas the robotic system ensures the accuracy and intensity of each treatment remain stable, significantly improving rehabilitation outcomes. Additionally, the intelligent treatment mode can incorporate gamification elements, enhancing patient engagement and motivation through visual interfaces, improving long-term rehabilitation adherence.

Our hospital's planned rehabilitation robotic system will encompass various functional modules, including exoskeleton-type upper and lower limb training devices, intelligent balance training platforms, and fine motor rehabilitation robots. These devices are not only suitable for professional rehabilitation therapy within the hospital but also support home rehabilitation programs with some portable equipment, achieving integrated continuous care both inside and outside the hospital. By introducing rehabilitation robotic technology, we aim to significantly shorten patients' recovery time, improve treatment accessibility, and provide more comprehensive and effective rehabilitation services for patients with chronic diseases and the elderly population.
