    General Psychiatry

    -Focus on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental health disorders in adults

    -Including mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and various other conditions that affect mental well-being  resulting in functional impairment

    -Treatments include medication, psychotherapy, electroconvulsive therapy, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) etc.

    Forensic Psychiatry

    -Accept forensic psychiatric evaluations entrusted by various levels of courts and prosecutorial agencies, with the principles of fairness and objectivity to provide professional assessments

    -Including criminal forensic evaluation, civil forensic assessments (like guardianship declaration)

    Day-ward

    -Patients with chronic and stable psychiatric disorders come to day-ward for treatment during weekdays (Monday to Friday) and return to their homes in the evenings and on weekends

    -Organizes a variety of rehabilitation activities to assist the patients to reintegrate into society

    Community Rehabilitation Center

    -Diverse and individualized rehabilitation services to restore the social and vocational functions

    -Enabling them to successfully reintegrate into community with independent life

    -Strengthen community residents' understanding and acceptance of participants, removing the negative effects of stigma

    Home Treatment of Psychiatric Patients

    -For patients with severe mental illness but refuse to seek medical treatment, lack of insight, or at risk of interrupting treatment

    -Involves doctors and nurses visiting patient's home to conduct assessments and provide treatment

    -Once or twice a month, with visit times from Monday to Friday, 9AM~12PM

    Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, rTMS (self paid)

    -Approved by Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare for treatment-resistant depression (TRD)

    -Non-invasive and does not require anesthesia

    -Using a magnetic field to induce microcurrents in the brain, which increases blood flow in regions of brain related to emotions and modulates activity of emotional circuits

    -Recommended treatment time for rTMS is about 20-40 minutes per session, once a day, for at least two weeks, with a total of ten sessions. The duration and frequency of treatment can be adjusted based on patient's response

    Electro - Convulsive Therapy (ECT)

    -Indication: severe depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, catatonia, and neuroleptic malignant syndrome

    -Using current to pass through patient's brain, triggering synchronized discharge in the brain, aiming to adjust the patient's brain dysfunction

    -Typical course consists of 6 to 12 treatments (2~3 times per week), individualized for each patient

    Geriatric Psychiatry -Evaluation and treatment for dementia, neuropsychiatric complications from stroke, late-life presentations of psychiatric disorders (like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorder)

    Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

    -Focus on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders in children, adolescents, and young adulthood

    -Addresses a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorders, eating disorders etc.

    Methadone Replacement Therapy

    -Methadone is given to replace other opioids such as heroin and morphine in order to reduce the cravings and withdrawal symptoms experienced by patients

    -Medication administration time: 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

    -Simultaneous screening for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV infection, and latent tuberculosis
