To enhance diagnostic precision, particularly for highly insidious conditions like Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), our hospital has introduced an advanced "Computed Tomography Venography (CTV) Decision Support System" significantly improving the efficiency and accuracy of DVT diagnosis.

DVT is a high-risk condition, often presenting with no obvious symptoms. Failure to diagnose and treat it promptly can lead to potentially fatal complications such as pulmonary embolism (PE). While traditional diagnostic methods like clinical observation, laboratory tests, and ultrasound provide initial information, they often fail to accurately determine the specific location and extent of the thrombosis, leading to potential missed diagnoses or misdiagnoses and delaying treatment. To address this challenge, our hospital proactively adopted advanced multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT) technology. Its high-resolution imaging clearly visualizes even minute thrombi, rapidly and accurately delineating the thrombosed area, thereby substantially enhancing DVT diagnostic performance.

This technology offers distinct advantages: first, its rapid scanning speed effectively shortens examination times and reduces patient discomfort; second, its non-invasive nature avoids risks associated with traditional methods; third, the 3D reconstructed images allow physicians to intuitively visualize the precise location and extent of the thrombosis, providing a more reliable basis for clinical decisions and reducing the risk of misdiagnosis.

Since introducing this advanced technology, our hospital has achieved a significant breakthrough in DVT diagnostic accuracy. We can now promptly identify potential thrombosis risks and formulate targeted treatment plans. This not only improves treatment efficacy but also markedly reduces the risk of complications, enabling patients to recover sooner and enjoy a higher quality of life post-treatment.

Looking forward, continued advancements in medical technology will provide further innovative tools to enhance diagnostic and therapeutic standards, improving the patient experience. Our hospital remains committed to adopting and applying the latest medical technologies, continuously elevating patient safety and treatment outcomes, and providing patients with more precise, safe, and personalized medical services.
