Our hospital has achieved significant success in integrating electronic functions in the field of imaging and pathology reports. Through the "Smart Health Examination Report - AI Video Guided New Experience" project, we have successfully addressed the pain point of traditional health examination reports being difficult to understand, making medical services more intelligent and humanized.
This project originated from in-depth observations of health examination participants, finding that many people cannot fully understand professional health examination reports, diminishing the value of health checks. In response to this issue, we innovatively combined AI artificial intelligence with video technology to develop a brand new health examination report presentation mode, transforming complex medical data into easily understandable video content.
The core of the project is built on the FHIR standardized platform, an efficient and secure medical data exchange system. We have constructed a complete automated process: first receiving original health examination data, conducting standardized integration processing; professional doctors then select and annotate key content; finally, through the AI video production engine, personalized video reports are automatically generated. The entire process not only ensures the accuracy of medical information but also greatly improves the readability of information.
The project has shown significant results after implementation: the demand for report consultation decreased by 44.7%, from 3.17% before introduction to 1.69%, proving that people's understanding of health examination reports has greatly improved; in the service satisfaction survey, 100% of ratings were 4 points or above, indicating high user recognition of this innovative service; at the same time, the automated process saves about 3469 hours of report typing time per month, improving work efficiency; each AI video report charges a service fee of 2,300 NTD, increasing revenue by about 3,272,900 NTD, creating a new source of income.
In terms of quality control, the participation of professional doctors ensures 100% reliability of report content accuracy; meanwhile, we highly value information security, with system design strictly following medical information confidentiality principles, achieving 100% in both information security defense interception rate and privacy protection.
This innovation not only changes the traditional way of presenting health examination reports but also demonstrates our hospital's ability to integrate electronic systems and devices into smart hospital environments. Through AI technology empowerment, we have enhanced public health literacy while optimizing hospital operational efficiency. This achievement fully demonstrates our hospital's leading position in the digital transformation of medical imaging and pathology reports, setting a new benchmark for smart hospital construction.
The successful case of this project proves that through innovative applications of electronic functions, hospitals can provide more patient-centered medical services while improving the efficiency of medical resource utilization, achieving a win-win situation in both medical quality and economic benefits.
