Our hospital is committed to improving patient medical experiences, and the multi-channel appointment booking service we've launched has achieved significant results. Currently, we offer multiple appointment channels including APP, internet, and automated voice systems, allowing patients to choose the most convenient method according to their personal needs. The system supports multiple filtering functions such as by specialty, doctor, date, or time slot, enabling patients to precisely book the required outpatient services. The online appointment rate has reached over 80%, with an average booking time of only 2 minutes, significantly reducing patient waiting times while alleviating congestion at hospital counters. After booking, the system automatically sends reminder notifications, effectively reducing no-show rates. More importantly, integrating real-time waiting information query functions allows patients to keep track of current waiting situations and reasonably plan their medical visit times.
These multi-channel appointment services save the hospital about 17.4 full-time staff annually, equivalent to NT$9.57 million in personnel expenses, allowing the hospital to invest more resources in improving the quality of medical services. Since its launch, the number of patients using multi-channel appointment services has surpassed traditional counter booking methods and continues to show an upward trend, indicating high patient approval of this service.
In the future, our hospital will further optimize the appointment process using innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) to achieve a more intelligent appointment system, such as providing predictive appointment suggestions and personalized health management plans based on patients' historical data. These innovative measures will make our medical services more closely aligned with patient needs, comprehensively enhancing medical experiences and efficiency.
