|
Summary of Specific Evidences KSVGH cooperated with national policy to actively promote the screening of cervical cancer, breast cancer, oral cancer and colorectal cancer, setting auto assistance system for four cancers screening outpatient, and entirely using each outpatient division and establishing SOP; referral is feedback to each department & division every month, and reviewed in Cancer Screening Committee each quarter, total yield rate for four cancers screening in 2015-2016 exceeding the target set by HPA.
Diagnosis and treatment guide for each cancer category is set to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment quality and to regularly monitor guide compliance rate. Cancer integrated outpatient is set to decrease patient’s running around.

Summary of Specific Evidences KSVGH established Chungder Ward and Hospice Palliative Care Team, aiming at QC indicators, such as “Cancer patient’s death in hospital or signing DNR ratio for case subject dying at home” and “Coverage ratio of cancer hospice (outpatient and home hospice)” to formulate service threshold value through team meeting for monthly regular review, analysis and improvement.

Summary of Specific Evidences KSVGH has signed cooperation agreement with International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) since 2007. ICDF, a corporate body in Taiwan, takes specific responsibility for foreign aids, cooperating with the country in connection with KSVGH’s professional medical knowledge and experiences to match the government foreign aid policy, jointly assisting diplomatic allies or friendly nations to improve medical quality.
KSVGH participates in annual international medical assistance, including Republic of Nauru’s Taiwan medical plan, Cambodia, Bangladesh, North Thailand, Vietnam and Nepal, etc.

Summary of Specific Evidences ”Organ donation” and “Hospice palliative care “- related information for patient’s rights and admission guide has been incorporated into KSVGH hospitalization precautions.
Medical personnel can read and inquire organ donation and DNR notes from inpatient’s insurance IC card and patient medical information system. Any potential organ donor can be immediately referral for coordinator’s assessment of patient’s condition; upon attending physician’s consent, organ procurement team will conduct procurement with dependents to implement patient’s great love.

Policies Promotion of Baby-Friendly
|
Summary of Specific Evidences Breastfeeding rate during hospital stay, immediate skin to skin contact rate between infant & mom after delivery and 24-hrs rooming-in rate are monitored every month, which will be reviewed to set improvement action for those fail to reach target value.
Actively participate in the cooperation with HPA to set up the related baby-friendly measures, providing the public with better medical services, and promoting women and children health, so as to improve health for all.
