    Out-patient Care Procedure

Here is a description of the out-patient care procedure shown in the flowchart:

Initial Categories: Patients are divided into three types: first-visit patients, subsequent-visit patients (not registered), and subsequent-visit patients (registered).

First-Visit Patients: Must go to the reception center to fill out the "First Visit Medical Record" with their ID card and National Health Insurance (NHI) card, then proceed to registration.

Subsequent-Visit Patients (Not Registered): Can choose walk-in registration at the counter, or use pre-registration methods including telephone systems (receptionist or auto-telephone) and internet/APP systems.

Subsequent-Visit Patients (Registered): Go directly to the treatment clinic room to see the doctor.

Clinic Consultation: All patients see the doctor in the clinic room, hand over their NHI card to the nursing staff, and schedule their next appointment if necessary.

Payment: After the consultation, the patient proceeds to the counter to make a payment.

Next Steps: Depending on the doctor's instructions, the patient completes one or more of the following: picks up medication at the pharmacy, undergoes an examination/check-up, receives an injection, or gets hospitalized.
