Family medicine not only provides community care for chronic diseases and health maintenance but also emphasizes preventive healthcare. By promoting healthy lifestyles, preventing environmental hazards, and early disease detection, we aim to reduce morbidity, disability, and mortality rates. Community medicine takes a holistic approach, addressing community health as a whole rather than focusing solely on individual-based care in medical institutions. Our hospital's community medicine training is based on the "three stages and five levels" of disease prevention, adopting a comprehensive care model that includes individual, family, continuous, and team care, integrating biological, psychological, and social aspects. The training content covers health education, health screening, preventive medicine, and community services.
In 2018, we established the Community Health Promotion Group to integrate hospital resources and promote community medical services. This includes health promotion activities, medical care stations, cancer screenings, community health management, and community health building. Our service area includes Yongan Health Center and Tianliao Health Center. Since 2012, the scope of community medical services has expanded to remote areas such as Zhutan and Jiuru, and we also support the "ASE" outpatient clinic.
