The Medical Intensive Care Unit was established in March 1995, followed by the Surgical Intensive Care Unit in 2006 and the Intensive Care Medicine Center in 2010. Over the years, a highly experienced medical team and advanced equipment have ensured the best care for critically ill patients while also providing an optimal environment for intensive care training. To enhance the quality and scope of patient care, the Intensive Care Center was created in collaboration with the medical and surgical team, implementing a system of full-time, dedicated attending physicians. This ensures that ICU patients receive expert and continuous medical attention 24 hours a day. With this commitment, the center becomes a leader in critical care in Taiwan.
